I’m very happy to have rediscovered this audio version of ‘The Enchanted Horse’! I had this on cassette as a child and recently remembered how much I used to enjoy the story and added music. The story is gentle with a gentle message, but a lot sadder than I remember, although I was about six when I first discovered it! I remember the narrator’s voice and perfect diction well, which helped to make it so recognisable. I hope to pass this on to future children one day.

I liked it when the blind man gave Bella the horse, it was kind. I didn't like it when the blind man told the scary stories of Black Jack. I would recommend this book for children aged 8+ years of age.

After searching for the same audio of this book from my childhood I finally found it here. It's exactly the same as the one I had as a child inckudong the gorgeous haunting music too. Absolutely thrilled I can now share this with my own little girl now.
