As a teacher, I was drawn to this text and pleased to find a lot of references I could think on and apply to my practice.

This is an important discussion to be had. It is eye-opening to realize just how much bias works ‘under the hood.’

Eye opening and very thorough examination of biases and the role they play in shaping society. Each chapter is dense with valuable and fascinating research, experiments, as well as case studies and anecdotes. It is also not trying to be sensational and acknowledges the limitations of certain research and the gaps that are still present in the literature. Overall this book helped me see the world and my invisible biases and the way it affects everything around me. I often found myself pausing to reflect and to think about my experiences and my upbringing. The subtle ways that everything around me has solidified and ingrained certain beliefs and ideas (such as the role of men and women) often goes unchecked and unchallenged. This book not only highlights our attitudes and beliefs that contribute to inequality or injustice, it also provides helpful insights into how society and institutions and individuals can change. It’s definitely a book I want to revisit in the future.

Offered great views of non-bias, and ideas to address our ignorance. Inherent in the material seemed to be the extinction of dominance, which I think is less about being human and more about artificial intelligence, or Disney.
There is difference, there is inequality, there is dominance, superiority and inferiority - I believe accepting and rolling with these realities is better than attempting to eradicate them - viva le difference!!!
Narration was emotionally dramatic at times which I considered at times as irritating (look at me!), and thought it would be interesting with a different narrator. As a suggestion to Audible: You could mix genders and cultures to be different from the writers.
