This was my second audio book so getting into the habit of listening to something without falling asleep. Not because it was boring, far from it, just harder to concentrate when you are not holding something or turning pages. Good naration and just as gripping listening to it even though I have read the books.

What a wonderful start to a new series!
The main characters, although vulnerable, really mean business. There are so many ways this story could go and I can't wait for the next book. The narration is wonderful, painting the horrifying picture step by step. Perfectly enunciated and so atmospheric. I found myself holding my breath in several places willing the characters on and hoping for the best. Christopher and Kim make a great Audible pairing and I hope this will continue through other books. Loved it!

Author Christopher Artinian created a disaster and wrote with an amazing accuracy how it all effects differently different characters, which I’m guessing that at the end it will all connect into the same point.
As usual Kim Bretton adds her amazing talent into the book creating beautiful sounds into an audiobook.
