I really wish I had read reviews before I embarked on this dull book.
I only stuck to the end because of The Firm, the two books feel like they were written by completely different authors.
Save yourself the bother, the characters and story are both flat.

It was hard to keep listening, the story was weak and not engaging, a surprise from Johb Grisham, the narrator was not as good as the previous one.

I love John Grisham books but this was a miss. I wasnt a fan of the reader and the story was not very gripping. I returned this one.

I’m a huge fan of John Grisham. Not quite sure what happened year, he could have taken it in so many different directions after the Bendini saga. Huge waste of time, boring story with no proper ending. Has nothing to do with Law either.
