About this listen

A child found. A target acquired. A galaxy on the verge of salvation.

While Soren’s reunion with Dana is happy, it’s a single pinprick of light in an otherwise grim present. With war raging and the fate of millions at risk, the Wraith reaches what Soren hopes will be their final destination.

The Eye.

The source of their struggles and the reason for the deadly conflict engulfing the galaxy. They’ve come to destroy it and end the war.

It won’t be that easy.

Interesting new developments which make you wonder about life, human character and making choices. Deep but enjoyable and engaging.

The 'Convergence War' series was not, for me, sustainable and I gave up on the whole business midway through the third book; the dramatic architecture, pacing and plot are tolerable without ever raising to the level of interesting - however, the narrator's performance was, generally, very good.

The real problem, for me, with this title is the ludicrously unrealistic characters - the chief protagonists are so nauseatingly devoid of any proper characterisation, human emotions and humour as to make the publication unendurable.

Sadly, it is impossible to recommend the series as it is prosaic in the extreme and populated with breathtakingly dull characters all of which removes all/any tension from the narrative; in all massively disappointing and without much, beyond the narrator's performance, to make listening/reading [the 'Convergence War' series] worthwhile.

Extreme Disappointing (Luck to get 2 Stars)!
