Yeah, so I found my girlfriend in bed with another man. It happens, even to famous star athletes like me. I’m not the kind of guy that lets that stuff bring him down.

What do I do? Rebound. Simple.

That’s how I meet Grace: Stunning, funny, wild in bed, and she enjoys the ‘no strings attached’ kind of thing.

It’s almost too good to be true. That’s when I find out it really is…

First of all—Grace isn’t even her name.

Second of all—she’s my new boss’s daughter.

Third of all—if her father finds out, I’ll get traded in a heartbeat.

Fourth of all—I can’t get enough of her (in bed, of course).

The fake name thing has always been my gig. I try to keep my life simple both in and outside of the bedroom. I do have a rule about hooking up with hockey players, though: don't ever do it.

Of course I break that rule with the hottest hockey player I’ve ever met. Thanks to my father being the new GM of the Apple Cats, I’m hired as the official photographer for the team. And you’ll never guess who I see on my first day on the job…

Now I’m taking pictures of the guy I’m not supposed to be hooking up with. Even with my little lie exposed, Maverick can’t keep his hands off me, and I can’t get seem to get away from him either.

All we need to do is keep this little fling cool and quiet, which we both know is probably impossible.

What I definitely don’t expect? To have feelings. So when things come crashing down, my heart is icier than a hockey rink.
