At a time when Planet Earth is barely habitable, Jack, a private investigator, living in a space station habitat, is approached by his ex wife Jill and paid to find her missing current partner. As bizarre a situation as that seems to be caught up in, his troubles are only just beginning. Jack's about to leave a trail of destruction wherever the hunt for the missing person takes him. His current love interest Sam will be very much involved too.
I thought this was a brilliant story with plenty of exciting and unexpected twists. Narrated in first person from Jack's point of view, I thought the sarcastic tone of the narrator perfectly matched Jack's personality and life status. This is science fiction, romance and comedy all rolled into one, with a bit of irony. Definitely recommend you add this to your list.
