The best part is Macleod Andrews tremendous performance! He plays an amazing amount of characters from children, men, women, French, Italien, American and keeps them separate. He expresses every kind of feeling. Of course, he had help from an exciting script. Love and goodness conquers in the end.

I got the first book free and loved it from the start, so used my tokens to get the other two. Absolutely brilliant and worth the tokens. Kept me hooked from the start. My dog was very happy as we went for extra longs walks so I could keep on listening.

I didn't expect to enjoy this story as much as I did but I found I just couldn't stop listening to the whole 3 books in this series.
Lots of different characters from different worlds and times - fascinating!
As a previous reviewer mentioned it would be great as a movie.
