The first book in this trilogy quickly draws you into the world and adventures of Podkin through the storytelling of the 'Bard'. The narration is brilliant, with not only different voices but also different accents for the many loveable characters.
My 11yo went straight to the next one in the series.
Highly recommended to young people who enjoy fantasy and action.
