my fav book ever, read numeous times so thought id try on audible, the narrator was relaly bad, ruined the story, buy the book not the audible version

A wonderful Rom Com, designed to make you yearn for covid to lift and to enjoy the sights and sounds of Rome.

As for the food - we have already made some of the recipes. Oh how I want Covid to lift and to eat in a restaurant.

This story is nice - really enjoyable if you like food and cooking, as they tell you lovely Italian recipes throughout, but the reader is not so good. He is slow and stilted, and would really have benefitted from reading it through a few times before recording, as it felt obvious to me that he wasn't used to the script as he paused alot between words; I got used to it after a while, but it distracted me to start with.

Great recipes, could almost taste the food. Funny and heartwarming. Enjoyed listening to it much more than when I read it a few years ago.
