I had the privilege to listen to this audiobook and although I'm not a very religious person, I found the stories both incredible and inspirational. The narrator is easy on the ears and I found this was an easy audiobook to start at the beginning and let it play all the way through. The stories are very fascinating. You don't have to be a religious person. It definitely got me thinking and asking questions. Great listen!

I found listening to this audiobook incredibly interesting. Todd has done a brilliant job of selecting the right stories and presenting them in such an inspiring way that shows just how devoted and loyal they were to their beliefs. These men made sacrifices that many of us today can look back on and appreciate. From the stories of John Mark to Matthias and Simon the Zealot, this book made me feel a range of emotions from sadness and empathy to admiration and respect.
