Weston’s larger than life personality has nothing on his swoon. His ex-wife turned him into a shell of himself but Carlee brought him back to life.
Carlee was young, independent and strong. Their dynamic and banter was fun, their chemistry was good but their friendship was the winner for me.
Marcio Catalano and Savannah Thomas brought Weston and Carlee to life. On a few occasions I needed to re-listen as Marcio’s female voice didn’t change from his normal one and I got lost in the dialogue but Savannah’s performance was outstanding.

The Friend Situation book 2 of the Billionaire Situation series by Lyra Parish kind of left me flat. I was so looking forward to listening to this audiobook since I absolutely adored the first book, The Wife Situation. It's too repetitive and the characters don't make any sense at times. The narrators Savannah Thomas and Marcio Catalano honestly saved this story for me, they are absolutely brilliant! The ending was so satisfying hence the 4 stars. I am looking hesitantly toward more from this author and this series.

Absolute SWOON!
I absolutely loved Weston & Carly’s romance. I love how they were best friends.
Their chemistry, friendship, banter, & passion made this such a swoon worthy romance. I love how Weston treats Carly like an absolute queen and cherishes her completely.
There was a touch of angst, so much fun & laughter, tension, and love.
I adore Carly’s family so much.
The narration was absolutely incredible.

“The Friend Situation” by Lyra Parish is the second book in the “Billionaire Situation” series and follows the story of Weston and Carlee.
Even if it is a standalone, I would recommend reading “The Wife Situation” first. It also interconnects with the “Very Merry” series as Carlee is a Jolly from Merryville.

I was looking forward to this book since I finished Easton and Lexi’s story last year. And the wait was worth it. This became my favorite book from Lyra.

Weston and Carlee were made for each other and you can feel that in every interaction they have. I could have read another book with them just talking and flirting. After being “secret friends” for almost a year and playing matchmakers for Easton and Lexi, they got to know each other very well.

They both have issues from previous relationships that took time to heal. I liked the build of the relationship between them, there was a lot of tension and the chemistry was very high. Weston was patient and waited until Carlee was ready. There was a slow burn that turned really spicy.

The audiobook narrators are great and made the reread so entertaining.
Even if it is dual style narration, both did a good job with all the characters.
I like that there is the same male narrator (as Easton and Weston ate twins) but a different female narrator. This the is the first time I listen to a book narrated by Savannah Thomas, but she is perfect as Carlee and I’ll listen to other audiobooks narrated by her.
