Robert Daley (a soldier stationed in the Middle East) and Paul Gest (a 17-year-old gamer) share something in common - they are both pawns in a government advanced weaponry prototype. Unable to work out the bugs in the software, General Aaron Singleton begins to take drastic measures to keep his weapons system alive; he's willing to try anything to maintain government funding, and that means using the minds of young children and the refurbished bodies of fallen military heroes.
