About this listen

Five heirs. One island. A deadly game.

When the adult children of five billionaires are abducted by a shadowy group, their parents face an unthinkable ultimatum: pay the highest price, or lose their loved ones forever. But as fortunes crumble and alliances fracture, secrets rise to the surface.

On a remote island prison, the hostages are pushed to their limits, uncovering betrayals while the manipulative mastermind pulls the strings. Time is running out, and the stakes are higher than anyone imagined.

How far would you go to save your child? What is the price you’d be willing to pay?

The Game was fantastic a page turning edge of the seat thriller! I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was instantly invested in the characters and their fate. Intelligently written with a fab story line. I can't wait for the next book from Danny Degan. The audio book narration was also brilliant. Highly recommended.

Great story with plenty of twists and turns. I also loved the ending which was exciting and unexpected. This book left me not wanting it to end and wanting to know if there will be more about the characters from the writer Danny Dagan. I think the voice over artist did a great job keeping me entertained and that's saying a lot because I normally get easily bored.

Great Story

It was not what I expected at all, which is in its favour. A gripping storyline with some likeable characters, and some I would like to ‘bop’ on the nose. All audible books rely, in my opinion, heavily on the narrator. It was a joy to listen to someone who effortlessly portrayed females without resorting to weird exaggerated attempts. Keep going I will most certainly purchase any follow ups. Thank you. Heather Love

Danny Dagan has crafted a fast and clever thriller, with delicious characters and contemporary, complex story. He weaves in UK politics, ethics, law, geography, tropical paradise, combat and lots and lots of culinary descriptions. You can’t put it down until it’s finished.

Gripping, witty and hilarious

Firstly, congrats yo the author on his debut novel. The initial half of the book quickly caught my attention, however, I felt like the intrigue died out from the middle onwards. There could have been a bit more action and more games involved.
