About this listen

British. Charming. Virgin.

Reed Windsor doesn't do relationships. Though he could charm the pants off any girl he wants, he's not interested. He's always been too captivated by a special someone from his past to get serious with anyone else. Sure, she has no clue he exists, but he's willing to bide his time and convince her he's worth a shot.

Sassy. Beautiful. Way out of his league.

Charlie Oded is full of baggage - being left at the altar will do that to a woman. Having zero time for distractions, she's not looking for...well, anything. She needs time to heal her heart, not another guy to string her along. Which is why when she meets the alluring Reed, she's determined to keep things friendly.

But he makes her heart race and she makes him want to settle down. And neither of them wants to walk away.

Reed's never wanted a relationship, but Charlie's changed the game, and he's willing to play if she is.

This is a very great audio. It’s a slow burn lobe romance. Both characters were great so opposites and at the same time both alike that they will be like a whole together. Reed and Charlie’s characters were great together.
Reed was drawn to Charlie but he doesn’t know why . Just that he seems to know her spirit.
Charlie became a independent women after a heartbreak when her fiancé dumped her right before their wedding. Charlie forged on and made a company worthy of herself and the other hurting women out there .
Once Reed and Charlie connect , and he finds out her deepest fears , Reed becomes patient with Charlie and makes her see that when she opens the door a little she is still strong and he will help her .
The love between the two is strong and powerful.

Both Sarah Puckett and Steve Campbell were great together. Love how the voices flowed great and strong and clear throughout the audio

LOVED it, Loved it, Loved it.

This book was really great, it kept my interest from the beginning, and as the chapters went by I couldn't stop listening to it. It was heartwarming, sweet, with a good storyline, and great characters.

Charlie was a strong woman, resilient, clever, cheerful, compassionate and a waffle lover lol...( that everytime they had waffles I craved for one). I loved how she didn't let what happened to her tear her down, instead making something really great out it.

Reed... OMG, he's sweet, caring, lovely, sweet, in a nutshell, he was perfect. I loved the way he is with Charley and how their relationship worked out really well despite the age gap.

And Anakin, just the sweetest addition to the book.

As for the narrattion, it was perfect, both narrattors did a pretty awesome job narrating the book, the pace, their voices, accents, and the way they portrayed the characters emotions was great.

Overall, if you are looking forward listening to a sweet romance with great characters and awesome narrattion, this book is for you.

Charlie wants nothing to do with men. She meets Reed who has been intrigued by her since he was younger. They fall for each other until Charlie discovers Reed has been keeping secrets. Good story about romance and the path we have to take to get there. Good Narration.

I really enjoyed this book for so many reasons. This is a slow burn romance. Reed is a sweetheart- someone who doesn’t have time to search for the “one” but maybe it’s because he hasn’t met the right one to make the effort. He may be on the list of favorite book bfs because he's so sweet and happy, with an infectious charm that he shows to everyone. So, though romance wasn't on the table, he was set up as a great person. But then he meets Charlie and romantic love now becomes a priority. I loved how their friendship built and then love came from there. This slow burn made sense given that she had been left at the alter and she was really scared about being hurt again.

I loved the notes that Charlie received; they were so heartwarming and it's this kind of heart that was another aspect of the book i loved. I also loved the cast of characters. Reed's friends and family (his mother is a hoot), her friends- all of them were the kind of people I wish I could meet and befriend in real life.

The narrators brought the story to life. They were great narrators with fitting voices voices. Steve Campbell had a lovely voice and his English accent was wonderful to listen to but he did a great job dropping the accent as well. Sarah’s so talented although I wasn’t sure her English accent was that realistic but she did such a fine job with pacing and emotion, that's ok :o)

I received this book from #audiobookobsession, #audiobookobsessionreviewer. thanks for a fun listen!!

Sarah Puckett is so one of my favorite narration and she did a spectacular job. Steve Campbell was only the second time listening and I think I need more, it was so good.
