I absolutely loved this book. The main characters are delightful and the storyline surprisingly unpredictable in many ways. Beautiful story from start to finish, set against a really interesting WWII backdrop. Can’t wait to read more by Mary Nichols.

Was a lovely story, easy to listen to. Was a bit sad in places, couldn't believe so much could happen to one person, but it had a happy ending of sorts. The first book I've listened to by Mary Nichols, will try another.
