This was a good novel but took a very long time to unwind and the pace was excruciatingly slow and drawn out.

Engaging and terrifying! The storyline takes unexpected turns and the characters become so visceral that you feel highly invested and protective to those you least expect. The performance of the narrator is exceptional!

I am sorry to say but this book only took off at near the end. Beforehand it was terribly slow and no substains. Not one of her finest..
