Look I love the books and the series and will continue to read them but this is not how a old and wise person sounds and came across. This is a Russian story needs an authority person to come across not this pampered crap.

I try to be open to the character being noble and educated, right? A man of both science, medicine and magic.
But all it toik was for the guy to use feet as a measuring standard. Just like that, it become hard to take the guy seriously.

it is odd how fast one can loose respect.

The stories not bad apart from the MC going full murder hobo then saying he has ethics. bit weird that.
Now the narration.
It's read as though by an AI. but a cheap AI with no idea about English grammar. the inflections are out of place and although understandable it's really weird.
