Good story but the me narrator really irked me, especially when doing female voices. And I found the small parts he was reading confused what was going on and interrupted the flow. Other than that a good second book, and am going on to read the third

I put off reading this book because I found the first one a bit slow for the first ¾ of the book. However when the app added it to the audible plus catalogue I thought I might as well give it a go.
it turns out it's way better than the first book! the pace of the book is better, its got a lot more action but at the same time is written superbly so you feel like your in the story.
It's just a fantastic darker fantasy book!
I can't wait to read the next one!
