The narration. Bernadette Dunne's performance was perfect, with her lilting and gentle voice.

What did you like best about this story?

The testimony to God's strength and Corrie ten Boom and her family's faith. The whole story is beautifully described with some lovely turns of phrase.

What does Bernadette Dunne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

I really felt that Bernadette Dunne WAS Corrie ten Boom, I felt as if I was listening to her own story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Many. The descriptions of the living conditions in Ravensbruck were very vivid. The descriptions of her family life were very moving.

Any additional comments?

This was an utter delight to listen to due to Bernadette Dunne's lilting narration. In spite of the story being ultimately harrowing, it is suffused with hope.
