As an HSP myself, this book was the oracle for me as I was discovering my inner workings 15 years ago. I decided to ‘read’ again and listening this time I find the book very outdated now. The fundamentals are of incredible value of course and I rate this 5 stars. But the development of society and ways of life have outdated the latter half of this book. Naturally this will happen, therefore 4 stars.

Wonderful book but outdated

The contents of the book was logical and flowed well between chapters. It helped me understand more about myself as a HSP and be more accepting of who I am and how things affect me. it also offered ways of dealing with the world I experience and what to look for in a therapist and the pros and cons of medication. Overall a great book that is well narrated.
