I think it to call the pronunciation awful is underestimating it. The narration is just plain weird. I have lived in Wales for over 30 years near to many of the places mentioned in this title.I have never heard names pronounced like this.
The content is good but the narration aside from the pronunciation has a sort of Wokey quality that is extremely offputting and undermines the credibility of the content. to be fair I think the narrator would be good given a title more suitable to them.This isn't that title

Why was this not read by a WELSH person????? This can not be underestimated how badly some of the words were pronounced. It has stopped me from reading the book. I am thankful to see that others have had the same issues but annoyed I did not check the reviews before I wasted a credit on this book. Do not bother.. Its awful... Content is great when you get to understand it.

Poor pronunciation of not just the Welsh language, but also, at times, the English language. This resulted in it being a tad irksome to listen too.

I found it almost impossible to listen to. I will rather read the book myself. How can one read aloud a book on Welsh history for money and not bother to get any information how to pronounce names of people and places. It is plain embarrassing to listen to. I feel sorry for the authors as the content seems well researched, but I certainly cannot recommend to listen to Mr. Zephyr reading it.
