Probably the best short story collection I've ever purchased - the fact that it was read by Christopher Lee truly enhanced the experience and added to the suspense and sense of foreboding in the appropriate places. Stories like The Hound of Death, Wireless and The Call of Wings alone make the collection worthwhile, while the other nine tales display Christies range and imaginative ability.

A mixed bag of stories read marvelously by Christopher Lee. The book is of it’s time but it’s Agatha Christie!

The stories and narration are both superb, well worth your time and money, I think The Red Signal is my favourite.

Both Agatha Christie and Christopher Lee are masters of their respective arts.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Agatha Christie wrote several stories outside of her normal ‘who dunnit’ genre. The stories included are a mixture of down to earth, supernatural, mystery and yes some crime thrown in too.
