I enjoyed this and found it well-written and quite gripping. However, it is not difficult to work out who the murderer is as there are not enough credible suspects. Worth the download if you are a subscriber, I guess

Considering the unexciting location and uninspiring characters this book will keep you guessing until the end. Easy going, not too indepth, it makes a great holiday read. All things considered a good book, but don't expect the greatest masterpiece you have ever listened to!

The House Sitter was really excellent. It was full of twists and turns and had some really good characters in it. They were described in colourful detail and the relationship between them developed and wove together as the story progressed. I really enjoyed it and would say it is the best book that I have downloaded so far and I have been a member for about a year or so. I would definitely recommend it.

Very entertaining listen due to the characters in the book. I enjoyed it a lot. The only disappointing point that the path to the murderer was a relatively easy one in the end, which should have been figured out early in the investigation. Technically it was my first download from audible and the speed of the narrator varied substantially which was annoying at times.
