As events escalate, Cassie must fight to save her home…and maybe even her life.

A must listen for Valerie Keogh fans! A twisty ending that I didn’t see coming just finished the book to perfection. The reader, Rose (Robinson?) always gives an amazing performance! Her dramatic ability is always incredible

Valerie is a great writer in this genre. This was not her best book, in my opinion, although it was decent and entertaining. The "surprise villain" was obvious to most regular readers of these novels, I would have thought. The ending was a chaotic mess that became ridiculous, as is common in the genre, although this did not take away from the fact that the story was good overall, and the characters were intriguing.

Good story
