Zarek Thorne, recruited by a shadow organisation to contain parasitic outbreaks, uncovers a terrifying truth. The Milark—ancient, serpent-like parasites—aren’t invaders. They’re the other half of creation, seeded by the galaxy’s black hole. And their awakening isn’t war…it’s judgment.

The Ignition Theory blends cosmic horror, speculative sci-fi, and emotional grit with philosophical mystery. It’s a haunting exploration of identity, and addiction. This is a sci-fi odyssey through the dying stars.

story was really enjoyable, characters all felt unique, and the twists and turns are pretty good. The ending was unexpected, and very, very intriguing as to where the sequel will go (if there is one). There's sections where they're figuring out one of the big mysteries, and turns out they were slightly wrong and they get more information later on which sets them on the right track it's understandable but I feel like it could have been a little cleaner. However, overall I really enjoyed this story.

great concept
