This was a fascinating story, well written and I got really involved in wanting to know what happens next. I would never normally listen or read to a WW11 book, so for me to like it - it shows that it can appeal to different people. The narrator was new to me but I quickly got used to his style and it really did work.

Very well written and narrated. This story felt real, gritty, down-to-earth, and each character was drawn so well that I quickly became invested. Truly worth a read. 5 stars across the board.

I absolutely loved this book! I couldn't put it down. I loved how they told the story of the present time, giving hints about the past, and then telling each individual Soldier's Story. for once I had no questions at the end of the book. I would definitely recommend this book anyone especially those who like War Stories!
