About this listen

The brave pilots of Rogue Squadron face the impossible as the sinister Ysanne Isard wreaks havoc on a fragile Coruscant.

The Rebels have taken the Imperial headquarters world of Coruscant, but their problems are far from over.

A killer virus called Krytos is spreading among the population and fomenting a counterrevolution at the heart of the New Republic. At the same time, Rebel hero Tycho Celchu is on trial for treason, accused of murdering his comrade and fellow pilot Corran Horn.

Corran, however, is still alive, trapped in the secret, inescapable prison of Ysanne Isard, the imperial officer whose reputation for torture and cruelty have earned her the moniker Iceheart. As he fights for his freedom, the pilot discovers an extraordinary power in himself—the power of the Force!

Absolutely loved the whole book. Moves along at a nice pace and kept me hooked from start to finish.

I love the experience of learning more about the fall of the empire and rise of the new Republic and the reader does a fantastic job voicing all the different characters and making them feel different and enriched

A second to last book in a series is hard to somtimes get right, but like the Half blood prince of harry potter this story was dark engaging and gave us much needed protagonist growth.

I wasn't a fan of the lead character for the first 2 books he was okay, but felt like a self insert and though a reveal in this book did have my eye rolling I can't argue that it's emotional beat did work for me and kept that characters momentum into the final book of this 4 book series.

This books has me teary eye to over joyed a good story and Mark Thompson brings it all to life.

The best in the series.

A good story but the end seems to be a bit rushed. From where Corrin bursts into the court everything seems rushed especially about where Myrax has been and Corrin thinking she's dead or their heartfelt reunion. These plus a few other things would make the story excellent however I can't wait for the next installation.

A good story
