The Infinite World: ever-changing and ever growing. New nations and races rose and fell almost daily. New Classes were discovered, and old ways were lost.

Monsters and beasts roamed the earth and were slain by soldiers and adventurers who were, in turn, killed by stronger threats. Heroes and villains created new epics and were forgotten when their successors appeared. This was the way of the Infinite World.

Summoned into this chaotic place, a young boy with no name and no past must learn to survive. Bound to a master who doesn't care whether he lives or dies, he must become stronger. The question is: how? Do the people around him value him for who he is or merely for what he represents? The world holds endless possibilities, but only time will tell what the future holds for the boy.

I didnt have much hope When i listened to this, but I got hooked. Will buy the next.

As a complete nerd that's been wrapped up in RPGs for a quarter century this was a fun listen.
Some really fun characters in this story that had me heartily chuckling more than a few times.

I found this book really entertaining with well rounded characters that I wanted to follow. The performance was great and really easy to listen to and the story was not filled too much with conversation between characters which in my opinion leads to stunted performance with constant he said/ she said etc.

I did however very nearly not get past the first couple of chapters when the setup of the story seemed to be too similar for comfort to the ‘He who fights with monsters’ series which I have recently binged on and thoroughly enjoyed.

I’m pleased I got past this with the great writing and performance. On to the next book!
