I found the female voice performance to be grating. There was too much teeth clenching and unnecessary pathos in the execution. I also thought the reader was too mature when contrasted with the male voice. The constant angry, tormented delivery of every line was very tiresome and I gave up half way through the story. I'll try to read it myself and hopefully I'll be able to engage with the story more
