About this listen

From the author of international best seller The Flight comes another clever and engrossing thriller with a sucker-punch ending.

Meg Varnum. Maggie Littleton. Meg Upton. Different names for the same person, depending on the town, depending on the job. I'm not a con artist as much as an avenger. A righter of wrongs. But nothing about me is real, other than my desire to hold men like you accountable for the things you've done.

I don't break any laws, and what I take is given willingly. I can't be blamed for how easy it is to manipulate you. It's a discipline involving confidence, cleverness and deception. And now, I'm about to work my final trick...this time under my real name. Because when it's done, I want you to know who I am and remember what you did to me.

Combining blistering pace with brilliant female characters, this is the unforgettable new thriller from the author of the international best seller and number one e-book best seller The Flight, called 'absolutely sensational!' by Jo Spain.

I enjoyed it immensely, it was very good, though don’t think it was entirely deserving of some of the accolades it’s received, if I recall, her previous book was even better.

Entertaining

My first by this author but I will hopefully find another on audible. Really good story, well read (praise indeed when the narrator is American) and although complicated, no problem sticking with it to the end. No spoilers here but I am really fussy and this is well worth a listen. Hope you agree!

Enjoyed it so much I finished it in 3 days! Easy to follow with a great twist at the end. Characters were believable, narrators voice was pleasant. Only minor thing was how did Ron not recognise Mel? I will definitely download another of Julie Clark's titles.

Brilliant read.
