I’ve listened to a few coaching books and found them quite repetitive. I found some good little nuggets in this book. Really good tips especially identifying the type of clients and how this affects how you should coach them.

Useful and a good amount of inspiration for someone who is just starting out although a little out of date in the starting your practice section with hand printed leaflets and 'most businesses these days are starting to use email. Useful nonetheless!

I found it shallow and very business oriented, less on effective coaching skills. On the contrary, it actually has a few examples that go against the ICF coaching principles. 😒
If would have been named or marketed as "Build your coaching business" or something like that, then we would have been more on point and honest.
Overall, I am disappointed about the quality of examples and advice on "effective coaching."
