Excellent plot and engaging narration. Shame it is only a short story. Hopefully it will be expanded in the future.

Another excellent piece of work from Mick Heron. His Slough House series is addictive, and as a short story this piece demonstrates why his books are so moorish. Great writing style, humour, intelligence and a twist.

A very entertaining short story. I couldn't resist this one and it didn't disappoint. Just look on it as a taster to a brilliant series of 'Spook Books'
