For travel blogger Fiona, Japan has always been top of her bucket list so when she wins an all-expenses paid trip, it looks like her dreams are coming true.

Until she arrives in vibrant, bustling Tokyo and comes face-to-face with the man who broke her heart ten years ago, gorgeous photographer Gabe.

Fiona can’t help but remember the heartache of their last meeting but amidst the temples and clouds of soft pink cherry blossoms, can Fiona and Gabe start to see life – and each other – differently?

Love all the messages this story brings: appreciating culture, forgiving ourself to become better version of ourself, realisation over lost path and what makes a photograph speaks by itself..

Really nice, credible story. Well told and paced. Characters believable. Japan very much in foreground.

evocative of all I loved in Japan

I have listened to this story multiple times and it never gets old. I love the descriptions of Japan and the culture. I enjoyed the narration, her voice is very calming.

I generally listen to Julie Caplin for the rich scene setting and description of other countries and places, to me the "romance" is a secondary and often annoying add on. This book has a lot of description of Japan that I like but the romantic relationship is not really believable.
The narration is also pretty strange - almost sounds like AI with strange peaks and troughs in delivery.

Too much angst and strange narration
