Although I already have the short stories, I purchased this for the new one 'A Perfect Storm' which is once again a hit from Jodi Taylor.
A bonus is the introductions from the author to each story.
Zara Ramms reading of the stories is once again superb

I loved this book, it was so great hearing from the author how these stories came about and where her ideas come from, or don't..

Although it's slightly disjointed because the stories are little novella's between the books in the main series, it's a nice taster to go back through the series and dip in every now and then.

As per usual, the stories are brilliant, My Name Is Markham in particular gives a whole new perspective on the series. The authors notes add to these stories brilliantly, although I do wonder of Max is really Jodi Taylor in fictional form,

lovely to have this collection which now brings me up to date with all the St Mary's books. Enchanting and whimsical. I await the next instalment! Oh wait! I see a pod! April 2018 here I come. And the world went white.....

For fans of St Mary's getting all of the short stories together is worth a shilling. Although they aren't essential to the ongoing plot events in the stories are referenced in the novels and vice versa and these short stories add so much detail and colour that it would be a shame to miss them.
