I know the yard stick is In Cold Blood but for the quirky place this is set in, it's an interesting case. Some books get bogged down in details but this was OK. Worth a listen.

I did get a little confused with the different names & people. Was well written, very long. I agree with the writers theory. So sad evidence was not preserved. Am sad for Brenda & her family & friends. Alcohol has alot to answer to. Well narrated.

Got 5 hours in and realized I had no idea what was going on or who was who. Just way too fleshed out and goes off on too many tangents. Gave up with an hour left.
