Summary

Adam Collins buys an old cottage by the sea to relax when warned that his high pressure job could lead to an early heart attack. But ghosts of a nearby fishing village that, many years ago, collapsed into the sea return to haunt him. Soon, he is drawn into a supernatural world which increasingly threatens his future through strange events that unfold.

Adam Collins buys an old cottage just outside of a small fishing village. Things are not as they seem though. The village and the fishermen are seated in a past timeline. No one else can see the people Adam sees. He becomes embroiled in the ghostly village and its people even to falling in love with a woman long dead when the whole village collapsed into the sea killing everyone. Adam knows what he sees, but is it his stressed mind playing tricks. Short and sweet story with good narration.

This is a nice ghostly short story with an unexpected twist at the end. Got free code from the author which was nice. Look forward to more from this author.

This is the most original haunting story I have ever read. It is not a haunted village the whole village is a haunting it had been lost back in the 1800s and for some reason only Adam can see it. At first he is eagerly excepted when he walks into the end, but Adam doesn’t know what is in store for him and what his new friends are capable of. This book as I said it’s so good I highly recommend it to anyone who likes haunted stories. I loved it

This is a great story! Takes you away to another (lost) world. We were gripped to the end and listened to it in 2 sittings. There are some wonderful descriptions of the worlds Adam inhabits and characterisations, perfectly read by the narrator. Makes me want to listen to more!
