The small town of White Oak Lake, Louisiana, is home to a group of colorful characters, three of whom take their Cupid duties seriously. A Free Plus Catalogue audiobook so worth a listen ! The story is funny in parts and the characters are mostly likeable. I find the narrator a bit hit and miss, she narrates the story well but her character voices range from good to cringe worthy !
I would have to use a credit for book two in the series and may after I take a rest from the narrator ?

a bit slow to start with but pretty decent. Tool a while to get used to the 'accents' used but overall pretty cool.

when the side characters are instant reminders of a book, it must be good.
clarrise, Ida, and betsy are 3 over 60s more like teenagers but with life knowledge, absolutely hilarious and brought to life expertly in the narration.
oh and the story of Morgan and Jacqueline is very good. loved it.
