A renowned rake, Cameron Mackenzie doesn't care if Ainsley Douglas has a virtuous excuse for sneaking around his bedchamber. He only cares that she's at his mercy. One kiss at a time, he plans to seduce her. But what starts out as a lusty diversion may break Cam's own rules.

It is a love story about Lord Cameron, the gorgeous rakehell who took on a new mistress every six months, drank himself into oblivion, raced and gambled. You name it, he did it!
Then he meets the incomparable widow, Ainsley, sneaking around his bedchamber who changes his life forever.
This story is more about romance with a hint of historical intrigue and how Ainsley manages to heal a scarred and broken man.
Ainsley is a great heroine who is honest, witty and has an open and warm heart. The gentle, but insistent way she helps and coaxes Cameron is heart warming.
Cam is a fabulous hero - gorgeous, strong, but riddled with his own set of doubts and fears.
There is humor, and great interaction between all the characters.
Buttons have taken on a new meaning to me!
The only downside - I wish the narrator would learn to pronounce cravat (like a vat of brandy) and waistcoat (as it is spelt in two separate words) correctly.
Wonderful Romance! 5*
