They've been marked. And now there's no escape ...

After cutting Aram Petrosyan's trafficking operation off at the knees, Detective Jamie Johansson and her new ward Alina are square in the crosshairs. Retribution must be had, and to carry out the task, Petrosyan unleashes upon them a man like no other. The Nhang moves without being seen and kills without mercy. And he's coming for them both.

Can Jamie stay one step ahead of this deadly new adversary? She'll have to use all of the skills at her disposal if she hopes to survive and finally close in on the elusive Aram Petrosyan. His operation seems to be recovering quickly, so there's no time to lose. With help from old friends and new, she'll once again rise to face the people that want her dead, and stand for those who can't defend themselves.

Evil may never rest, but Jamie Johansson doesn't either. And when they come, she'll be waiting.

The second, thrilling instalment of the pulse-pounding Jamie Johansson Files crime thriller series. Perfect for fans of Welsh crime, Simon McCleave, Anglea Marsons, and DS Butler.

Loved it, a mother figure , humanity and humility, was on the edge of my seat right to the end

She’s human after all

These books aren’t just gripping, edge of your seat thrillers (they would make a good film), they address how evil mankind can be. They look at the grey areas, when is killing ‘wrong’ and therefore sometimes ’right’, and are some kinds of murder more wrong than others?
I don’t usually like series, but the characters have got right under my skin
and I’ll definitely move on to the next in the series.

Make sure you read/listen to the first one first

Another good JJ thriller. A good range of characters well portrayed by the excellent Sophia Engstrand.
When I say good it is just that, good but not the great standard of some in the series. I was a little disappointed that this storyline is being carried over to the next book..that said, I'll still be listening!

Solid Thriller, well performed.

I love Morgan Greene’s books. The characters he has created really get under my skin and the stories are fast paced and so exciting. I genuinely feel bereft that it’s finished.
Very well read.

Wonderful

I loved all the books and hoping that the excitement would continue. The narration is the most compelling part of the storyline and given the impression that you are actually in the stiry

The anticipation
