Meditation is one of those activities that can seem like another to do, yet makes you feel oh so much better all around when you’ve finished. This audiobook contains a huge variety of meditations to use for specific challenges. My favorite use is to unwind and spend 10 minutes to focus on my needs and build self-compassion, self-confidence and self-love. The author also includes a few meditations that are termed “self-hypnosis”. These meditations access your subconscious where your belief systems lie and gently rework your thoughts to those of empowerment and positivity. All meditations are excellent for beginners or advanced meditators, all you need to do is sit or lie down quietly, close your eyes and listen!

My mom has tried a bunch of meditation things but this collection felt more focused and personal. The self-love and anxiety relief tracks really helped her feel more grounded like she finally has a mental toolbox when life gets too much.
