I absolutely hate returning books - and I'm a huge fan of Shaleni's books, but I found this one to be a little bit too long (hence the reason for not giving it five stars) Katie Villa was brilliant at narrating as usual, but I just felt the end was drawn out. It kind of felt like when you write an essay and there's a word count, so you just write anything to reach the right number. I'll certainly keep listening to Shaleni's books, as I know she's an amazing writer, this book just wasn't one I enjoyed the most.

This will be my last book by this author. I've loved her previous books and, to be fair, the story was fairly gripping. It was ruined by the lead character, for an intelligent woman, making unbelievable decisions that even a 5 Yr old would question. It also dragged on past the point of suspense, in whining small detail. Added to this, the narrators voice grated on me and was irritating, detracting from the story, but that could just be my own personal preference.

Good story awful narration
