In October 1962, with the world teetering on the edge of nuclear war, a simple prank aboard the USS Point Defiance spirals into a high-stakes conspiracy. Seaman Earl Kinn, a bored kid from Iowa, sneaks into his authoritarian captain's cabin to move a pen set but accidentally stumbles upon Top Secret documents.
