About this listen

When Anna Flores' adored older sister goes missing as a teenager, Anna copes by disappearing too and eventually building a life for herself abroad. Thirty years later, the death of her mother finally forces Anna to return home.

Tasked with sorting through her mother's possessions, she begins to confront not just her mother's death but also the huge hole Gabriella's disappearance left in her life - and finds herself asking a question she's not allowed herself to ask for years: what really happened to her sister?

I bought this and was hooked by the narrators voice, however as the story unforded the story became less interesting and didnt seem to move at all to be honest it all became rather dull and boring. The end was a MASSIVE let down and i wont bother with any more storries by this author - such a shame.

Just alright

Worth a listen

I struggled to remember to listen to it, it's not as cripping as some psychological thrillers that there are. Although a good story, I felt it took a while for anything to happen. The story itself was only okay, and quite sad, which is fine if you like that but occasionally it's nice to have uplifting elements. A satisfying ending, however.
