Gives real insight into the Viking culture dispels many myths about them, I ma very glad I got the book.

I've listened to Drout's lectures on Fantasy Literature, Tolkien and the West, the Anglo-Saxons, and now this series on Vikings, and I always have a good time and learn a bunch. I'll probably listen to this multiple times, like I have with the other lecture series. If this is a subject you are interested in, this is a good pick-up!
