I was delighted to discover this Kate Daniels series and have listened to every one so far.
The characters are well formed and believable and the stories interesting and a little unusual.
Personally, I have really enjoyed the narration...the geordie accent is excellent!
Definitely recommend!

A good story that kept my interest. However there were a lot of character names to remember and the narration jumped from one to another, sometimes with hardly a pause, making it difficult to follow.

Whilst I have listened to several books by this narrator I don’t think she suits the ‘Crime and Thriller’ genre. This is a good story but the narrator just didn’t make it come alive and I found myself drifting off and losing concentration many times. Unfortunately it has put me off reading the rest of the series

I hope we have many more Kate Daniels stories. It would be good to have one with a lot of perspective on Jo too

I agree with other reviewers about it being confusing at times and a lot of names and connections to try and follow. Loved the narrator’s accent but irritated that Daniels was replaced by Daniel frequently, I kept questioning whether there was another character!
