About this listen

Since 1922, when Howard Carter discovered Tut's 3,000-year-old tomb, most Egyptologists have presumed that the young king died of disease, or perhaps an accident, such as a chariot fall.

But what if his fate was actually much more sinister?

Now, in The Murder of King Tut, James Patterson and Martin Dugard chronicle their epic quest to find out what happened to the boy-king.

The result is a true crime tale of intrigue, betrayal, and usurpation that presents a compelling case that King Tut's death was anything but natural.

I bought this because I have enjoyed many of hios previous novels. This is a poorly written, uninteresting story of a fantastic subject. It provides no authoritative evidence for its conclusions and skirts over some of the more interesting elements.
Despite its claims it was obviously written for the money rather than the story.

Iam an avid james patterson reader - this book, in my view is only being sold because of his name attached to it. It is poorly written - no new story line apart from some possible already known historical facts and hey presto we have a book! I think this is disrespectful to James Patterson's readers and should never have been produced under his name. Very disappointing.
