About this listen

The death of Princess Diana, Princess of Wales, sent shockwaves around the world. A nation was left in mourning, but soon feelings of suspicion surfaced: was her death all that the Establishment might wish us to believe?

Now, after an exhaustive two-year probe, investigative writer and former journalist Noel Botham has dared to reveal what the people of Britain have always believed - that Diana's death was murder.

Using his unique contacts in the secretive worlds of intelligence and royalty, the author has uncovered the facts that prove Diana was - as she herself predicted she would be - the victim of a professional hit squad. He presents a clear account of what really happened on that fateful day of 31 August 1997. Why was the killing sanctioned? How was it executed? Was there really another car in the tunnel at the time of the crash? All of these questions and more, including how the truth was covered up by an official whitewash, are answered.

This astounding book is what all enquiring minds have been waiting for, blowing the lid off the secrets the Establishment does not want us to know. The Murder of Princess Diana firmly lays to rest the theory that Diana's death was a tragic accident, and finally gives the people of Britain the explanation they deserve.

Would you try another book written by Noel Botham or narrated by Simon Whistler?

Book by Noel Botham most defiantly, narrated by Simon Whistler not a chance!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator ends every sentence with empathies very much like Quentin Wilson used to do on top gear, after a while this becomes super annoying.

Did The Murder of Princess Diana inspire you to do anything?

The narrator inspired me to jump off a bridge

Any additional comments?

A well-researched and fascinating story let down by really bad narration.

A fascinating story but terrible narration

I have only listened to half of it right now but the thought of this voice droning in is putting me off completely. Whether this is a true story or not no one will ever know but it seems to be siding with the Princess and is quite damming to our now King.
I may return to this at some stage but the voice has given me a headache just now .

Shame about the AI voice

The man is telling us the conspiracy theory we have all believed since this tragedy happened that indeed, as predicted by Diana herself, she would be killed in a car crash, but dismissed by many because she was "paranoid". I never dismiss a story from someone when they are called paranoid as a person's instincts are usually spot on.
A lot of what he says we have heard before but my goodness he has the most boring voice in telling the story. He cannot say woman, it's wimen. Other little nuances, because of his slow precise speech, tend to irk a little, from the first chapter.
A really interesting story but be prepared to fall asleep while listening to it!!!!

Great listening for insomniacs !!!

This book gives the reader 110% about the death and life of Diana and is indeed very i formative and to the point . However, this was totally spoiled by the narrator. initially I thought the narrator was foreign, but listening carefully all the words are indeed clear and precise, but strangely he appeared to elongate many words and talk at an odd speed and accentuate The end letter of many words....most odd and most off putting.
I asked several friends to listen to a few paragraphs, in order to see their reactions , wanting to make sure this was not me being picky, .....they all agreed that the narration was very odd.
Apart from this I cannot fault this book, which is both enlightening and well researched giving one a true insight into what most likely happened within her marriage to Charles
If you can get passed the odd narration this book leaves out the fluff and stuffing and gets straight to the facts and findings

Great story,dreadful narration
