About this listen

When the luxurious Blue Train arrives at Nice, a guard attempts to wake serene Ruth Kettering from her slumbers. But she will never wake again – for a heavy blow has killed her, disfiguring her features almost beyond recognition. What is more, her precious rubies are missing.

The prime suspect is Ruth’s estranged husband, Derek. Yet Poirot is not convinced, so he stages an eerie re-enactment of the journey, complete with the murderer on board…

Another great Hercule Piorot mystery.

A plot with lots of twists till the very end, and lots of interesting characters.

Hugh Fraser simply has the-most-divine-voice and beautiful enunciation!! He also does an excellent Hercule Piorot!

An Agatha Christie staple

Not bad but hoped for a different twist. It rose to a crescendo but the end was a bit of an anticlimax.

Generally good

Could this be better than Murder On The Orient Express..? I think so myself! Great story and characters. And a formidable leading lady. Loved it. Highly recommended.

One of the best.

The story hooked you in from the beginning, and you could slowly see the pieces of the puzzle being put together. The narration was incredible and very effective in separating the characters from each other. Overall a good read, but a tad slow at times.

Amazing narration and compelling story
