Helped to know that I was not/ am not an ' oddity' which is one of my mothers favourite words to describe people that she finds aloof with her. Maybe they have just seen her for the flaky shallow person she is.
I am on my own journey at 55 that I have been working on for the last 5 years at least once I realised it was time to listen to my body and my feelings and go with them .
Thank you for your work which has contributed a piece of affirmation and confirmation to my inner child speech and recovery.
